A human reads this.
Towncenter is maintained by a small team, alongside other work. There is no support desk and no reply time to promise. Being specific is the fastest route to an answer.
- Something is broken
Open an issue
A bug, a sector that will not fill, a figure that looks wrong. Issues are public, which is what makes them useful to the next person with the same problem. Say what you did, what you expected, and what happened instead.
- A question, or an idea
Start a discussion
How to deploy it, whether a feature is planned, why something works the way it does. Anything that is not a defect belongs here rather than in the issue tracker.
- A security problem
Report privately
Do not open a public issue for a vulnerability. GitHub's private advisory form reaches the maintainer without disclosing anything until there is a fix.
Why it all goes through GitHub
Because the answers stay readable by everybody afterwards. A question answered in a private inbox helps one person; the same question answered in a public thread helps everybody who searches for it later. It is also the only channel that will still work if this site disappears.
- Privacy requests Access, correction or deletion of the one email address this site may hold: see the privacy policy, then write through any channel above. There is a single field to act on, so it is quick.
- The hosted instance There is nothing to ask and nothing to buy: it does not exist yet, with no date and no price. Leave your address on the home page and you will hear about it the day it opens, if it ever does.
- Sales enquiries None to make. The software is free, the licence is AGPL-3.0, and you install it yourself.
